Imbibe Magazine named Chris McMillian one of the top 25 most influential cocktail personalities of the last century. A fourth-generation bartender, McMillian is a New Orleans legend and a co-founder ofThe Museum of the American Cocktail. He has been the chief bartender at several note-worthy New Orleans bars, including the Library Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton, Bar Uncommon, and Kingfish. In 2016, he openedRevel, a laid-back neighborhood cafe and bar, with his wife, Laura.

As a cocktail historian, McMillian is known for telling stories or reciting drink-themed poetry while making drinks. McMillian has been profiled by theNew York TimesandWall Street Journal, among others, and has been a public speaker at institutions such as the Smithsonian.
