Javier Cabral is the former restaurant scout for the late Pulitzer-award-winning food critic, Jonathan Gold. He is the co-author ofOaxaca: Home Cooking from the Heart of Mexico(Abrams, 2019). Last year, he won two James Beard Awards for his work as the Editor in Chief covering tacos and social justice for L.A. TACO, and as an Associate Producer for 'Las Cronicas del Taco' (The Taco Chronicles) series on Netflix.
