Kat is the Taiwannessean (that’s Taiwan from her cultural background and Tennessee from her upbringing) intern between Bon Appétit and Epicurious. She has editorial experience from writing, illustrating, and editing campus magazines in New York City and Oxford and interning at Brooklyn cultural magazines. She is a lifelong lover of food, cultivated from licking spatulas in her mother’s kitchen, getting lost in the cheese aisles of grocery stores, and joining a cooking community, Potluck House, in college, where she cooked for 14 other housemates and planned food-based social events. Whether it’s revealing the secret to fall-apart tender meatballs, animating two veggies dancing, cross-testing recipes, or reviewing cookbooks, Kat loves the ins and outs of all things culinary.
