New Orleans-based Kirk Estopinal is a partner and bartender at the award-winning bar Cure as well as Cane and Table, a Caribbean restaurant and bar. His rise in the cocktail ranks included a stint at Chicago's Violet Hour. Estopinal also helmed Bellocq, a now-shuttered NOLA speakeasy. With former fellow Cure bartender Maks Pazuniak, Estopinal co-authored theRogue/Beta Cocktailsbook series.
