You can replace the spinach with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli.

- 1 pkg. (2.4 oz.) Knorr leek soup mix
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed well, drained and patted dry
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. diced Canadian bacon (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. dry basil leaves
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. Half & Half
Preparation

- 1. In a large bowl, combine the fist 6 ingredients. Spoon into pie crust. 2. In medium bowl, beat eggs and cream until well blended. Pour over spinach mixture. 3. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. 4. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
