Pink Lemonade Cosmopolitan

This cocktail is made with homemade pink lemonade and vodka. A traditional cosmopolitan has cranberry juice and lime juice rather than lemonade. We use Triple Sec, but another orange liqueur such as Cointreau can be used instead.

Ingredients

serves 1

2 ounces good vodka
1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) Pink Lemonade (page 241)
Dash of Triple Sec
Dash of Simple Syrup (page 281)
Twist of lemon zest
  1. Step 1

Combine the vodka, pink lemonade, Triple Sec, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Shake well.

    Step 2

Pour over ice in a martini glass.

    Step 3

Garnish with a lemon twist and serve.
