Update (July 17 at 2 p.m.): This lightning deal has ended, but to see what else is still on sale for Prime Day, head to our story of thebest kitchen deals.

A lot of theAmazon Prime Daysales have been selling out fast, but we just spotted a lightning deal on aGreenPan ceramic nonstick cookware set.

Let's be clear: we don't love thisTeflon alternativejust because it's discounted. The GreenPan Paris fry pan came out on top in ourrigorous nonstick skillet tests; we recommend it whether it's on sale or not.

GreenPan was the first company to bring ceramic nonstick cookware to market, and at time of publishing, an 11-piece set from its Paris Pro line is down to $192, a 36% discount from its original price of $300. All the pots and pans in the set are nonstick ceramic (manufactured without PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium), have a stainless steel handle, and can safely go in the oven. The set includes the following:

  • 8" open fry pan
  • 9.5" open fry pan
  • 11" open fry pan
  • 1.5-qt covered saucepan
  • 3-qt covered saucepan
  • 3-qt covered sauté pan
  • 5.5-qt covered casserole

Of the GreenPan products we've tested, the open fry pan had a great look, feel, and heft. We found it to be an ideal medium weight, and it held up to our tests of flipping a pancake and making eggs. We also like the simple, less-harsh grey coloring that's a refreshing alternative to the typical black.
