Ingredients
Makes about 1 1/4 cups
Step 1
Mince garlic, then mash to a paste with 3/4 teaspoon salt.
Step 2
Whisk together garlic paste, pepper, lemon zest and juice, vinegar, and mustard, then whisk in oil until emulsified.
Step 3
Whisk in herb, if using.

Back to TopThere was a kind of burning in my mouth and throat when I tasted. I feel there was to much pepper. The lemon and vinegar were competing with each other making it to acidic. The oil gave a nasty flavor...Probably my oil went bad though. And the garlic was way to harsh especially if you are expecting to have a romantic evening.
