Finding the best Amazon Prime Day coffee maker deals can be a real espresso-bean-in-a-haystack situation. The number of coffee makers on sale is staggering (the number ofcompetitor salesis also a lot). And even though some lightning deals will end and some things will sell out, there's still too much for someone to get through if they have any hope of doing anything productive with their day. Well, we’ve done that here. Prime Day is a frantic, wild couple days that may exist to make us a little bit crazier, but we'll do our best to be a port in the storm. Just because it’s one of the easiest ways to make a cup of coffee doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavor. The best coffee maker from our drip testing came from Café and it’s already on sale, as is SCA gold cup certified, long time top performer Technivorm Moccamaster. Heck Technivorm even makes a tiny one cup version that's on sale too.
Single-serve coffee maker deals
While brewers like theKeurig K Miniare on sale, we aren’t touting Keurig coffee makers here, because in our tests we just didn’t think the K-cup pod coffee was quality coffee. Instead, the Nespresso Vertuo Plus and Lattisima are discounted for you podheads looking for just a single cup. And the new-in-2022Bruviuses proprietary B-pods that are designed to be thrown right in the garbage after use, decomposing significantly even if they’re just at the town dump. But if you want a single serve machine that offers something totally different check out the wi-fi connectedSpinn, which uses a centrifuge to brew and can produce a variety of flavors, including pour-over, espresso, cold brew, and iced coffee in just a couple minutes time. It has a real “Designed by Apple in California” look to it, too.
Espresso maker deals
Espresso machinesare pricey items and Prime Day is one of the few days with reliable markdowns on good options, including fully automatic machines, including the Delonghi Magnifica Evo that includes a milk frother and can make a cappuccino or latte with a single button push, and Miele CM5300, which can do all that but requires you tobuy the milk container separately. Then there are semi-automatic machines like the Breville Barista series and Delonghi's La Specialista Arte that require a bit more work on your part, but let you dial in your shot just how you like it.
Cold brew coffee maker deals
Smooth and easy drinking, cold brew can have a sneaky high amount of caffeine in it. But it’s simple to make. All you need is agood cold brew coffee brewerlike the compact cold brew maker from Oxo or its full size cousin, and time—about 12 hours of it.
Burr grinder deals
Unless you get a machine like the Delonghi Magnifica Evo or the Spinn that has a built-in grinder, you need a way to grind your beans (do yourself a favor, don’t get pre-ground coffee, buy whole, freshly roasted coffee beans). Right now, Oxo’s burr grinder with a built-in scale—one of the easiest grinders to use if you want to make sure you’re brewing with the right amount of coffee—is more than 30% off retail prices. Fellow's Ode grinder, which is truly fantastic in every way except for the fact that it doesn't grind fine enough to brew espresso, is as cheap as it's ever been. Technivorm, maker of the stellarMoccamaster series of drip coffee makers, also has a stepless burr grinder. That means it has no fixed number of different settings and you can dial in as precisely as you want to for espresso or pour-over. Just note that you have to manually turn the grinder on and off, since it doesn’t use weight dosing like the Oxo or time dosing like a lot of other grinders.
