How to Make Loaded Baked Potato Biscuits

Shredded potato and all your favorite toppings transform buttermilk biscuits.

The only thing that's better than flaky buttermilk biscuits? Theseloaded baked potato biscuits, which pack all of the savory, cheesy goodness of one of our favorite side dishes in a handheld, begging-for-butter biscuit.

And they couldn’t be easier to put together.

In one bowl, shred a standard baked potato (it can even be microwaved) using a box grater. In another bowl, make your biscuit dough, cutting cold butter into the dry ingredients with knives or a pastry blender to keep the biscuits light. Fold in the shredded potato, along with all of your favorite baked potato toppings: grated cheddar, chopped chives, and a healthy helping of creamy buttermilk (instead of sour cream). In less than 30 minutes, you’ll have the best of both worlds.

Serve these herb-dotted and buttery biscuits at your nextstellar Southern-tinged brunch spreador to accompany your favoritesteak dinner.
