Gayle Pirieand John Clark are the chef-owners of San Francisco dining destination Foreign Cinema. Alumni of the legendary Zuni Cafe, the couple has published three cookbooks includingThe Foreign Cinema Cookbook;Country Egg City Egg; and theWilliams-Sonoma Bride & Groom Cookbook. In 2010, Pirie was inducted into Les Dames d’Escoffier International. They live in Berkeley, California, with their two children.
