  • The negative review about this drink tasting like koolaid are spot on. Find another recipe. There are better uses for alcohol.

  • I enjoyed this a lot. I think I'll also try it with some unsweetened cranberry juice next time.

  • I was intrigued by this recipe, first because I love cranberry juice and second, while I also love the almond in Amaretto, I've always found it too sweet for my taste. I find most liqueurs too sweet, and have even taken to making my own coffee liqueur for that very reason. So, bear with me here, and try this: use unsweetened cranberry juice. I made these with unsweetened cranberry juice (available at Whole Foods, etc), Amaretto and orange bitters. Fabulous!

  • Delicious! It tastes like a holiday cranberry sauce. We added a few drops of Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel-Aged Bitters to give it a hint of spices. That made it perfect!

  • This cocktail is wonderful, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to use a premium cranberry juice, like R.W. Knudsen's Just Cranberry. I know that stuff can get pricey, sometimes as much as $10 a bottle, but it's WORTH IT. You end up with a very balanced, not too sticky drink, when regular cranberry juice will just make it taste like thin Kool-Aid.

  • Made two versions of this recipe. One using fresh squeezed orange juice, like other reviewers stated it does taste like Kool-Aid. When I made it using Cointreau instead of the juice it was delicious and tasted like a smooth cosmo martini. Will definitely make this again using a scant less amaretto.

  • So good! Way better than a regular cosmopolitan. I think the sugar rim would make it too sweet.

  • Very delicious and smooth! I made this for one, changing the measurements from cups to ounces and this is great fruity and breezy cocktail to have on a warm summer day. I only had orange-mango juice but it doesn't matter, the flavor of the mango compliments all the other flavors. I'll be making this for parties in the future!

  • One more tip...rim the glasses in red sugar. Very pretty presentation! You will want to make a full recipe so that you can have a second or third :-)

  • I adjusted the recipe to make 2 cocktails but liked it so much I made a 3rd. I highly recommend trying this, the amaretto really compliments the vodka and cranberry.
