Sriracha Buffalo Sauce

Ingredients

Makes 1 1/2 cups

1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) unsalted butter
1/2 cup sriracha (Asian chile sauce) or hot pepper sauce such as Frank's Red Hot sauce
1/4 cup white-wine vinegar
  1. Heat butter, sriracha, vinegar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring, until butter is melted.

  • I had high hopes for this because I love sriracha sauce and I love wings, but what I wound up with was butter sauce. 1 1/2 sticks of butter is WAY too much, and I even used a whole cup of sriracha. I will try it again with maybe 1/2 stick of butter.

  • Okay I tried this recipe and the flavor is good. My only complaint was it is very runny so it needs to be thickened.
