  • Delicious and so fresh tasting. My kids find fresh ginger to be spicy but the adults love the flavor.

  • I make these all of the time with no changes. Literally if I could make all of my vegetables with the sauce I would. It's amazing but it does pack a flavor punch so if you don't care much for ginger, garlic or both tother this might not be for you.

  • This is a great recipe that I have made several times to rave reviews by all each time. The only changes that I have made were frozen steam bags of beans for convenience and ground ginger for fresh out of necessity.

  • we didn't care for this recipe. we felt the flavor was too strong for a side dish. we prefer plain steamed beans.

  • In response to Scrimp01, I only made the sauce early in the day. I cooked the beans at mealtime to they were hot and just tossed on the sauce. sorry for the confusion.

  • If you prep beans and dressing earlier in the day should you throw it all on a pan quickly before serving or was this a recipe for cold side dish?

  • These were perfect as the only spicy dish alongside filet mignon and cauliflower at New Year's Eve dinner. I followed recipe exactly but made it early in the day so all I had to do at mealtime was toss it onto the beans. Kids and adults were munching on the cold leftovers in the kitchen later in the evening.

  • Even kids that hate beans will devour this in short order. A lovely complex mix of Asian flavors and a superb way to dress up a green bean.

  • This is quite a tasty dish. It's great for the tastebuds but wicked on the breath! I made it exactly the way it's written and will make it again. The picture doesn't do it justice...it's very pretty.
