Forget about buying canned sparkling water. Making your own flavored refresher is easy, with grapefruit peel for tons of floral flavor and grapefruit juice for a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

Makes 1

1½ cups sparkling water
2 2x1" grapefruit peels
2 teaspoons fresh grapefruit juice
  1. Pour sparkling water into a glass filled with ice. Twist 1 grapefruit peel and rub rim of glass. Drop both peels into glass. Stir in grapefruit juice and serve.

  • 好的,我想非盟解决牙科方面thor freaked about. The problem, if any, with the carbonated water is not decay so much as the acidity of carbonation and also of citrus additives that will, over time, wear the enamel or any exposed dentin. If the hard enamel layer is worn in areas, then the layer under that is the dentin. It's not as hard as enamel so it will wear faster. This dissolving process is significant if one drinks this acidic mix all the time. So simply rinse your mouth with water after and use toothpastes and rinses that say they will strengthen or rebuild enamel. My sincere apologies to the foodie purists for tromping on the blog's purpose. I love food too; I also love teeth and truth!

  • Tried it today, but it took waaay too long and it didn't really taste good. I'm thinking lime instead of grapefruit would work better. Thoughts?
