  • I would love to have the recipe for the "cooling dip" as the link doesn't work. Did anyone get it to work? I also tried the search on Epicurious' site. Eager to try this recipe. Sorry about the rating, but I had to rate to leave this note. I have NOT made these yet, but hope to soon.

  • I never, ever have success with oven fries. They never turn out crisp, browned, and always turn out limp and not like fries at all. Maybe it was the parchment paper? I also could not find jalapeno salt. I did love the flavor of the roasted jalapeno with the sweet potato.

  • I looked for jalapeno salt here in Portland, and didn't find it. I bought some "Mexican seasoning," which turned out fine. The sweet potato fries turned out fine.

  • Made this for a big group, very popular. Paired it with the ginger sesame sauce (//m.fonts4kids.com/recipes/food/views/Ginger-Sesame-Sauce-51112280) for dipping. Had to do multiple rounds of baking, but these are easy to throw back in the oven and warm up. Also, I have an old gas stove and over time, the temp is tough to regulate, so I had to move the rack higher with later rounds. Otherwise, just follow the directions.
