The key to this drink is fresh pineapple juice.

Ingredients

Makes 8 servings

2 cups fresh pineapple juice
2 cups orange juice
1 cup white rum
3/4 cup high-proof dark rum
3 tablespoons Campari
Orange wedges
Maraschino cherries
  1. Mix 2 cups fresh pineapple juice, 2 cups orange juice, 1 cup white rum, 3/4 cup high-proof dark rum, and 3 tablespoons Campari in a pitcher. Cover; chill for 4-12 hours. Divide among ice-filled glasses. Garnish with orange wedges and maraschino cherries.

  • I wanted to love this, especially since I used fresh pineapple and orange juice. BUT you really have to like campari to like this drink. apparently I hate the stuff, because just the 3tbs were overpowering the drink for me. we ended up taking the extra pineapple juice and mixing it with rum for a tasty drink.
