White Sangria

Ingredients

Makes about 8 cups, serving 6

1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup fresh lime juice
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 cup seltzer water or club soda
1 1/2 cups ginger ale
A 750-ml. bottle dry white wine, chilled
1/2 cup Pimm's Cup
1 navel orange, cut into wedges
1 lemon, cut into wedges
  1. Step 1

    In a large pitcher stir together citrus juices, seltzer water or club soda, ginger ale, wine, Pimm's, and half of orange and lemon wedges.

    Step 2

    Add ice cubes and serve sangría with remaining orange and lemon wedges.

  • The only thing that would make this better is to make the ice cubes out of the sangria. No diluting!

  • I added sugar to the receipe and it was perfect. It was a bit sour.I used regular drinking glasses and it only served about 4. Also, its not that great for presentation, it turns kind of a muddy brown color because of the Pimms and the orange juice. But,I will definitely make it again though. It was a huge hit!

  • Delicious- great for summer parties. I usually double it -it goes so fast. Definitely worth the effort to find Pimm's cup - a good liquor store will carry it.
