Lodge Dutch Oven

为一个不错的选择,提出使荷兰烤肉锅that performs extremely well. At $60, it's a fraction of the price of the Le Creuset and still high-quality (plus, as the maker of one of our favorite cast-iron skillets, Lodge is a brand we trust). This pot seared beef evenly and crisply, and, like the Le Creuset, its lightly colored interior makes it easy to watch for the appropriate level of browning. If you're looking for a starter Dutch oven, we highly recommend it.

Instant Pot Accu Slim Sous Vide

Instant Pot's take on the immersion circulator is easy to use straight out of the box—no need to connect the device to wifi, or pair it with an app. In fact, there is no app! Simply clip the machine to a pot, set your temperature, and cook. This thing is small, heats up just as quickly as the Anova, and is $50 cheaper than its competitors. For the casual sous vide cook, what could be better?

BUY IT:Instant Pot Accu Slim Sous Vide $55 (originally $80) on Amazon

S'well Water Bottle with Sports Cap

S’well bottlesreign supreme when it comes to keeping water ice cold for long periods of time thanks to triple-walled, vacuum-insulated stainless steel. They have a tapered design that feels great in your hand, and that makes them fit nicely in backpacks and totes .We love this particular S'well for its narrow, easy-to-grip silhouette, impeccable insulation, and its new convenient sports top, which makes drinking from it on the go super easy.

BUY IT:S'well 17-Ounce Water Bottle, $23 (originally $40) on Amazon

Chef'n FreshForce Citrus Juicer

The Chef’n Fresh Force features a big, burley, geared hinge that looks impressive. We tested it outon a variety of lemons, limes, and oranges and found it did a great job. We found we didn’t need to exert quite as much pressure. Another great feature? The bowl has slits in the bottom instead of holes, which helped direct the juice into our measuring cup and kept even tiny seeds out. The only downside is the size. That massive hinge takes up a lot of space. Still, the Fresh Force is sturdy, well-built, and requires a bit less force than standard squeezers.

BUY IT:Chef'n FreshForce Citrus Juicer, $16 (originally $25) on Amazon

A Classic Instant Pot: The Duo Nova

它steams! It sautes! It makes rice! And, uh, so do all the other Instant Pots. So what's great about this one? It's the perfect starter: features like the EasySeal lid and extra safety functions make it less cumbersome to use than previous versions of the Duo, and it lacks the more complicated functionality of the more expensive models. Plus, this one makes yogurt! This is the best Instant Pot for entry-level multi-cooker users.

BUY IT:Instant Pot Duo, $80 (originally $100) on Amazon

A Suped-Up Instant Pot: The Ultra

这是即时罐的顶部线。16 different functions,we thinkthe Ultra is the model for someone who maybe bought a multi cooker a few years back and is now hoping to try out some new features, like yogurt making, cake making, and sterilizing. It's also a great gift for someone who loves an ultra techie kitchen tool. The Ultra Instant Pot also has an auto-closing pressure valve that streamlines the process and aids in safety with the pressure cookingIt holds six quarts, and usually retails for $150.

BUY IT:Instant Pot Ultra, $80 (originally $150) on Amazon

UPDATED:Now $85 (originally $150) on Amazon

Instant Pot Steam Rack

If you've joined the cult of Instant Pot, you know the lure of IP accessories. The machine is already a multi-cooker, but you can also buy tools and attachments to make it do even more. I can proudly say I've only bought one accessory, and it's a steaming rack like this one. It stands up in your pot so your fish or veggies can steam without getting soggy. Because it's made of silicone, it cools easily (no burned fingers) and is BPA free.

BUY IT:Instant Pot Steaming Rack, $6 (originally 9) at Amazon

Soda Stream Fizzi

The SodaStream Fizzi is a more manageable model than the more complex and expensive models, like the Power Sparkling Water Maker. The Fizzi starter kit comes with a 1-liter reusable bottle and 60-liter carbonator; all you need to do to make sparkling water is fill the bottle with water, insert it into the machine, and press a button that'll create the CO2 bubbles. The Fizzi is lighter and easier to store than the Power Maker too, which is especially nice if you have a small kitchen or limited counter space.

Sur La Table

All-Clad Nonstick Skillet Sets

At Sur La Table, you can score All-Clad nonstick pans, either in a 2-piece set that includes one 8-inch skillet and one 10-inch skillet or a three-piece set that also includes a 12-inch skillet. All-Clad is a tried-and-true brand we love at Epi, and when you give someone these nonstick skillets you're also giving them the potential for buttery French omelets that slide seamlessly onto the plate and salmon fillets with zero percent of the crispy skin sacrificed to the curse of pan-stickage.

BUY IT:All Clad Nonstick Skillets, 8" and 10" set, $60 (originally $120) at Sur La Table

BUY IT:All Clad Nonstick Skillets, 8", 10", and 12" $120 (originally $225) at Sur La Table

Greenpan Nonstick Skillet

We loved the look, feel, and heft of the pan—its medium weight was a breeze to use, and pancakes and eggs lifted perfectly off the slick surface. And of all the ceramic pans we tested, the GreenPan Paris Pro appeared to have the most long-lasting nonstick coating. Customers on Amazon report having had theirs for more than three years and seeing minimal signs of wear. One reviewer notes that he had to throw his out after seven years, which compared to the other ceramic pans we tested, is a pretty good tenure.

BUY IT:Greenpan Diamond + Evershine Skillet $80 (originally $186) at Sur La Table

All-Clad's Winning Waffle Maker

We could talk about this waffle maker all day.它won our product testthanks to the perfectly-crisp, golden waffles it produced. Each batch was as uniformly beautiful as the next. Our tester even went as far as to say that the waffles had more depth of flavor than any of the others in her test. It's a hefty machine at 14 pounds, yes, but the four square design means you can feed a family in one fell swoop, instead of laboring over the machine endlessly.

BUY IT:All-Clad Stainless Steel 4-Square Belgian Waffle Maker, $150 (originally $300) at Sur La Table

Joule Immersion Circulator

The Joule earns our top ranking in our test of the best immersion circulators because it is small and sleek. It’s a lightweight machine that fits easily in a kitchen cabinet or drawer. All of the other models of immersion circulators we tested were considerably bigger and bulkier. The Joule also boasts the highest power capacity of any of the sous vide machines we tested.

As part of the compact design of the Joule, the machine has no screen or buttons. Instead, you set your temperature and time on the app that connects to the immersion circulator and operate the machine entirely through the use of your phone. The new age of cooking is here.

BUY IT:Joule Immersion Circulator, $160 (usually $250) at Sur La Table

Le Creuset

Le Creuset 5 1/2 Quart Dutch Oven

The Epi Test Kitchen uses Le Creuset Dutch ovens, so we know that they hold up to wear and tear. The enamel doesn’t seem to ever chip and the pot can withstand high temperatures, frying, braising, boiling, and whatever else we throw at it.In our test, the Le Creuset gave meat and vegetables a nice brown crust and showed great heat distribution. Its large handles are thin and have lots of room to stick your hand through, even if you're wearing bulky oven mitts.

BUY IT:Le Creuset 5 1/2 Quart Dutch Oven $200 (usually $300) at Le Creuset

Moccamaster by Technivorm Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe

Looking for a Cyber Monday coffee maker deal? This coffee makerwon our product test. Technivorm’s Moccamaster is an iconic coffee maker that subsequent brands have attempted, but failed, to replicate. The Moccamaster pioneered the now ubiquitous shower head feature, and for a long time was known as the only good drip machine. While this coffee maker can’t be programmed, froth milk, or tell you the time, it does make a well-extracted brew with just the flip of a switch. We tested a glass carafe model, but a thermal, stainless steel option is also available.

BUY IT:Moccamaster by Technivorm Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe, $240 (originally $330) at Williams Sonoma

Breville Smart Oven Air

The smaller version of this toaster oven from the high-end appliance line came out on top, both in our initialproduct reviewand when we tested it against newer budget models. It won thanks to its consistency, ease of use, and thoughtful features (like a Fahrenheit-to-Celsius converter, a button that tells the oven you’re cooking something frozen, and an indicator that tells you how long the cooking or toasting cycle is, so you’re not just waiting for who-knows-how-long for your toast. It’s easy to clean, too.).

一次又一次地,这是最直观的to use and reliable of the bunch. It toasted bread evenly and without incident, though in order to achieve color, we recommend setting it a notch or two past the medium setting of four. It takes 3.5 to 4 minutes to brown, well within range of the other countertop ovens we tested, whose toasting times varied from 2 to 5 minutes. It produced the most consistent results in other tests: cookies were golden on top with browned bottoms and soft interiors; frozen pizza had evenly melted cheese; and chicken was roasted to crisp-skinned perfection.

BUY IT:Breville Smart Oven Air, $350 (originally $750) at Williams Sonoma

Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender

While the Vitamix 5200 was won ourtest of the best blenders,我们也非常喜欢这个更加昂贵A3500。它has five smart program settings that automatically detect the size of the container in use—this means you can blend according to the exact volume and get the perfect consistency without thinking about it. A built-in programmable timer can be set to stop the blender when it's done blending, too. Yes it's expensive, which is all the more reason to get it at a deal today.

BUY IT:Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender, $525 at Williams Sonoma (originally $700)

Our Test-Winning Air Fryer

Wondering how to eat a bit healthier without giving up the crunch of fried foods? Air fryers blow air rapidly across the surface of food as it cooks, wicking away moisture to render the surface crisp in the manner of a deep fryer, but without the fat. This air fryer won our product testthanks to its superior sweet potato fry abilities. It's also more efficient than any other model, and has an easy-to-use interface.
