Frozen Mango Daiquiri

Ingredients

Serves 2

3 oz (1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons) amberrum
1 1/2 cups (1-inch) cubes of firm-ripe mango (from two 1-lb mangoes), frozen
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 oz (2 tablespoons)triple sec
4 teaspoons superfine granulated sugar
2 cups ice cubes
  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

  • This is the best mango daq recipe that I have tried, by far!! Just like someone here commented, I use agave syrup in place of the granulated sugar. I use frozen mangos (that I fully thaw). I use Bacardi gold rum. Do NOT use “dark” rum, such as Meyers.

  • These are delicious and fresh frozen mango works great, and substituted agave for the sugar (half the amount of sugar by the way). Yum!

  • I would suggest this drink to anyone. You don't have to be a bartender to whip this up. I tripled the recipe and entertained a small dinner party. It was great to serve the drinks before the meal...And it was less work than making appitizers.
