Chef Hugo Bolanos of Los Angeles'Hotel Bel-Air与Epicurious分享这道菜只。万博官网嗨s turmeric-infused green juice features apples, celery, kale, and parsley but it's a flexible recipe, so feel free to experiment with different veggie combinations. Bolanos recommends swapping in Japanese cucumber for the celery, and substituting Swiss chard for the kale.

Ingredients

Makes 1 (8-ounce) juice

1 lemon
1 1/2 green apples, such as Granny Smith, cut into quarters and seeds removed
1/3 stalk celery, diced
6 large kale leaves, preferably Tuscan, center ribs removed
1/2 cup tightly packed fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  1. Step 1

Trim both ends off the lemon, then stand it on a cut side and use a sharp paring knife to cut off the peel, including the white pith; discard the peel. Cut the segments free from the membranes.

    Step 2

Feed the lemon segments, apple, celery, kale, and parsley through a juicer. Stir in the turmeric and serve immediately.

  • Excellent, refreshing drink that I will prepare for years to come. It was delicious even without the tumeric. Due to the nature of the prep involved, I highly recommend that the ingredients are prepared for at least two drinks. I made one of them today, and I placed the other set of ingredients in a container so the juice prep for tomorrow is done.
