回到顶部简单又好的素食选择。我把所有东西都放进去,然后做25分钟,然后自然减压(我的四季豆真的很大,所以我遵循了煮浸泡四季豆的IP时间)。我去掉月桂叶,用浸入式搅拌机搅拌部分豆子,然后用小火炖浓稠(使用IP炒设置)。我没有磨碎的月桂叶或液体烟,它仍然很好。下次我可能会加更多的油。

Three bay leaves is more than enough for one pound of beans. Being a vegan recipe the omission of celery from the 'trinity' is a mystery. Onions, bell pepper and celery go in together to saute, when they've softened and become translucent, 5-10 minutes depending on size of dice and heat level, add the garlic, bay leaves, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper, and cayenne or your favorite hot sauce and continue cooking for a minute or less. Add the beans and water or vegie broth (homemade is best). There is no good reason to release pressure, add the 'before serving' ingredients, and go back to high pressure. And canned tomatoes do not belong in red beans. Skip the tomatoes, marjoram, liquid smoke (use a good smoked paprika), and ground bay leaf as well as the before serving step. Mashing some beans to thicken the liquid also lets you see if the beans are cooked as much as you like. Fresh parsley and/or scallions are nice garnishes. Instant Pots come in various sizes and the instructions will state the maximum liquid level for safety under pressure. If uncertain, do the full saute step, add the liquid and beans and use the slow cooker setting. Beans and rice are a complete protein with no need for meat. Often in New Orleans the red beans are prepared vegan and a choice of meat is offered, usually sausage or pork chops. Sliced fresh tomatoes are a nice side to offer when in season. Louis Armstrong closed his correspondence with, "red beans and ricely yours".
