Ingredients

Makes 6 to 8 servings

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup popcorn kernels
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon shichimi togarashi
  1. Step 1

    Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic; stir 1 minute. Remove from heat. Cover; keep warm.

    Step 2

    Heat kernels and both oils in a large covered pot over medium-high heat; cook until almost all kernels have popped. Transfer popcorn to a large bowl.

    Step 3

    Drizzle garlic butter over popcorn; toss to coat. Sprinkle togarashi over; toss again.

  • Good recipe. I suppose I am the first to review because people have trouble finding the togarashi seasoning. It's definitely worth seeking out, as it adds complexity.
