Tasty, and healthy, too: Coconut water is high in potassium and other electrolytes. And Flaxseeds are a good source of beneficial omega-3s.

  • Really good. I'd probably add only one date next time.

  • I agree with other reviews. Sweet enough to skip the dates. I recommend blending up the water and flax first to get them ground down.

  • Very good smoothie. I subbed in a nectarine for the mango. It is probably sweet enough to skip the dates. Kids liked it too.

  • Question, not a review: What is the point of the dates? With mango, berries, and banana, isn't it sweet enough??

  • The frozen fruit acts like ice cubes. makes the drink cold. That's the idea.

  • I so agree with you Tobi.......too many reviews are somebody's totally altered version......

  • What good is a review if the recipe isn't followed. I want to know how THIS recipe tasted, not someone's altered version.

  • Just made this smoothie or,I should say I used this recipe as a base! I had all but the dates on hand and I had some ingredients frozen that weren't supposed to be (yogurt) and some that weren't frozen (blueberries, banana). I also used almond milk. It came together very easily and is very tasty. I will make this again!
