Monday: Eat with your hands

When deciding what to cook for dinner on Monday, the last thing you want is a project—so throw a ton of shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes into boiling water, addOld Bay, and have at it. There's not a kid in the world that can complain about eating dinner right off of the table. Oh, and cook about twice as much shrimp as you think you'll need, and double up on sausage at the store too.

Tuesday: a dippy dinner

You've already got cooked shrimp from last night (you're welcome, past self), so the only thing on the agenda tonight is blanching some green beans and mixing up a super-simple yogurt sauce. Two eat-with-your-hands dinners in a row makes for a very happy family.

Wednesday: one-skillet sausage

Remember all that extra sausage you bought for Monday's dinner? Throw it all in a pan with apples (trust us), white wine, and a couple handfuls of watercress and dinner is done. Grab a nice loaf of crusty bread to soak up the saucy goodness at the bottom of the pan, and go to town. If you have any leftover seared sausages, pack them up for lunch with some sharp Dijon mustard for dipping.

Thursday: a hearty meal, southwestern-style

This gluten-free tamale-inspired casserole looks and tastes impressive AF, but it comes together ridiculously quickly. All it takes is a meaty, cheesy filling, a cornmeal-based crust, and 15 minutes in the oven. While you're at it, cook up a double-batch of the ground beef and chorizo filling for tomorrow night.

Friday: It's-finally-the-weekend-calzones

Grab last night's leftover (ahem,#nextover) ground meat, sauté some kale (or any other greens you have on hand—maybe watercress from Wednesday?), and wrap it up in store-bought pizza dough. Into the oven they go, and then into your mouth. Crack opena bottle of wineto celebrate another week of dinners conquered.
