Ingredients

Serves 6

1 pound good-quality crabmeat, picked over
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
1 lemon, zested, juiced
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, divided
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more to taste
1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste
1 pound spaghetti
  1. Step 1

Combine crabmeat, tomatoes, lemon zest, lemon juice, pepper, 1/2 cup parsley, 1/4 cup oil, and 1 tsp. salt in a large bowl.

    Step 2

Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water, stirring occasionally, until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta cooking liquid, and add to crab mixture. Stir vigorously and add pasta cooking liquid and oil as needed to fully coat. Season with salt.

    Step 3

Transfer pasta mixture to a serving bowl or platter and top with remaining 2 Tbsp. parsley. Serve immediately.

  • 它是简单和容易。然而,并不是一个伟大的使用real crab, maybe ok with "Krab". Kind of bland, so I added red pepper flakes. Won't be making again.

  • Sounded so good big waste of crabmeat. Not terrible but a big shrug. Why bother ? A little hot sauce helped but really?

  • I made this and was very disappointed. I followed the recipe exactly and I'm unsure whether or not something went wrong or if I just have different taste than the other reviewers. I live in Maryland and had all fresh ingredients and the dish just ended up tasting like fishy and bland crab. Since there aren't too many other flavors going on her, the pasta picks up the flavor of just the crab and a little lemon. My boyfriend thought it was okay though which is why I gave it two stars. I will try this again in the summer and see if it's any different.

  • My wife LOVED this recipe. Quick, easy. I halved it and used mock crab instead. (small) Fresh garden tomatoes. Did not halve the lemon and added a bit of white wine. The extra lemon made it fresh and different from heavy sauces. It was delicious!

  • Made it for friends last. Everybody enjoyed it. I added asparagus and used sea salt with seaweeds.

  • We made this last night and it was fantastic! No doubt the ingredients we used made a difference - fresh lump crab meat from Cambridge, MD (less than 100 miles away), cherry tomatoes from a neighbor's garden, fresh parsley from our herb table. The lemon zest and juice are essential to the flavors.

  • I made quite a few substitutions for this recipe and it was still pretty good. I used vegetable fettucine as the noodles, didn't have white wine so substituted with lemon juice and water, and used fake crab instead (since the market had no real crab). I found the recipe both satisfying and filling the way I did it. Can't wait to try it with real crab next time!
