Tabbouleh, tabouli, tabouleh, taboolee . . . however you wanna spell it, it spells YUM! It has a clean, light flavor that just tastes healthy. If you have a food processor, now is the time to use it.

Tabbouleh Salad
Step 1
Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the bulgur wheat, lower the heat to a simmer, and cook, uncovered, for about 10 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed. Set aside to cool.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the parsley, cucumber, tomatoes, mint, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Add the cooled bulgur and mix thoroughly.

Step 3
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C, or gas mark 4). Line a baking pan with parchment or a silicone baking mat.
Step 4
Add the flour and cornstarch to the Tabbouleh Salad mixture. Knead until well incorporated. If your mixture is too wet, add a little more flour.
Step 5
Form into 10 patties. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until firm and just beginning to brown. You can eat them just like this, but they get extra yummy if you panfry them in a little sesame oil after you bake them, just to get a little golden crispy crust!
You can eat this patty warm or cold. I like it all by itself, but its also super yummy in a pita or on flatbread. Its also good on a wheat bun with a schmear of hummus or tzatziki sauce.

Back to TopOh, so not worth it! tons of work for ruining the always refreshing and yummy salad.. (Even your recipe for the salad was under par... )I will no even go into what I had to do to get these to 'work' unless someone really have to try it. If anyone is interested.. let me know. (one fork is too many, as another rater said) Epicurious people... did YOU try it before posting????

Awful, I love tabbouleh, but these were bland and we had to add hot sauce to them to give them some flavor. Not worth the effort or time, will never make again.

喜欢这些!很有味道。我发现锅煎them at the end in a little sesame oil did give it that extra yum factor. Would recommend these and make these again

I very much agree with sdenzer on this one. I was excited about a way to use leftover tabbouleh, but this wasn't worth it. Just bland.

These were very meh... bland and not so exciting. I'm a sometimes vegetarian and feel pretty strongly that non-carnivourous food can be awesome. These missed the mark. I found myself heaping on extra tzatziki to try and liven them up, but even that wasn't enough. Won't be making them again.
